Ses ann\u00e9es d\u2019activit\u00e9 les plus intenses ont co\u00efncid\u00e9 avec le conflit interne au P\u00e9rou. Travaillant en collaboration avec des syndicats, des groupes de jeunes, des coop\u00e9ratives agricoles et de nombreuses autres organisations communautaires, TAFOS a organis\u00e9 des ateliers pour plus de 270 photographes communautaires issus de 30 communaut\u00e9s \u00e0 travers tout le pays. Ces photographes ont utilis\u00e9 la photographie comme un outil pour soutenir la r\u00e9sistance non violente et l\u2019organisation communautaire en plein conflit.<\/p>\n<p>Durant les ann\u00e9es de conflit p\u00e9ruvien, le groupe gu\u00e9rillero mao\u00efste Sendero Luminoso et son rival, le mouvement marxiste-l\u00e9niniste Movimiento Revolucionario T\u00fapac Amaru (MRTA), ont men\u00e9 une insurrection r\u00e9volutionnaire violente contre l\u2019\u00c9tat p\u00e9ruvien. En m\u00eame temps, le pays souffrait d\u2019un effondrement \u00e9conomique grave qui a plong\u00e9 de nombreuses personnes dans la pauvret\u00e9. Les deux camps utilisaient des tactiques terroristes brutales, et la majeure partie des combats se d\u00e9roulait dans les r\u00e9gions andines, touchant de mani\u00e8re disproportionn\u00e9e les communaut\u00e9s indig\u00e8nes rurales. Ces communaut\u00e9s ont subi de graves abus, assassinats et disparitions. Face \u00e0 cette violence croissante, de nombreux civils se sont organis\u00e9s pour se prot\u00e9ger, cr\u00e9ant des r\u00e9seaux de soutien pour contrer les violences, l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 et les privations \u00e9conomiques. Par la suite, Condori et M\u00fcller ont propos\u00e9 au comit\u00e9 des droits de l\u2019homme d\u2019Ocongate d\u2019organiser des ateliers pour former plus de membres en tant que photographes communautaires. Cela a conduit \u00e0 de nombreux autres ateliers \u00e0 mesure que d\u2019autres groupes communautaires se rapprochaient de TAFOS avec le d\u00e9sir d\u2019apprendre la photographie : des collectifs paysans dans les r\u00e9gions andines comme Ayacucho, des syndicats de mineurs \u00e0 Jun\u00edn, des groupes de jeunes et de femmes, des \u00e9tudiants, des organisations communautaires dans les bidonvilles des grandes villes p\u00e9ruviennes et des communaut\u00e9s afro-p\u00e9ruviennes sur la c\u00f4te.<\/p>\n<p>Les photographes <em>TAFOS<\/em> \u00e9taient des membres actifs d\u2019organisations de base d\u00e9sireux d\u2019apprendre \u00e0 utiliser la photographie comme un outil de communication. Ils ont document\u00e9 les conditions de travail, l\u2019agitation politique, la mobilisation de base et la vie communautaire quotidienne pendant une p\u00e9riode turbulente de l\u2019histoire p\u00e9ruvienne. Ils ont utilis\u00e9 la photographie pour renforcer la r\u00e9silience et la r\u00e9sistance communautaires face \u00e0 la violence et au conflit. <em>TAFOS<\/em> a fourni une formation photographique de base, des \u00e9quipements, des pellicules, ainsi que des services de d\u00e9veloppement et d\u2019impression aux groupes communautaires qui menaient et coordonnaient leurs activit\u00e9s photographiques. Les ateliers ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 diminuer \u00e0 partir de 1993, alors que le paysage politique changeait et r\u00e9duisait la demande. Aujourd\u2019hui, une archive de plus de 150 000 images <em>TAFOS<\/em> est conserv\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 catholique pontificale du P\u00e9rou \u00e0 Lima, o\u00f9 elle continue d\u2019\u00eatre utilis\u00e9e par des chercheurs et des \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
